Volunteer Role Description: Family and Youth Programme
We are looking for creative workshop volunteers to support Dulwich Picture Gallery’s youth and family programmes. The family programme includes weekly drop-in family workshops, half term courses and full day family festivals, whilst the youth programme provides regular open access and targeted creative workshops and projects and skills based volunteer programmes.

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to help out at the Gallery over spring/summer 2019, supporting the busy day to day running of the site, comprising the main Grade II listed Gallery, staff offices and tranquil public grounds. We are anticipating an increase in visitor numbers to the site during this period, when the Dulwich Pavilion returns with The Colour Palace, a temporary outdoor welcome space which is free and open to all.
Site and Garden volunteers will work with our knowledgeable and enthusiastic Operations team to assist in several areas across the Gallery, offices and gardens. Every day can be different and bring new challenges.
What you can expect to do to in the role:
• Maintain Site presentation standards
• General handyman jobs
• Help the team set up for events
• Light gardening- pruning and planting
You don’t need to have volunteered with us before, and appropriate training will be provided.
