Society of Women Organists in Recital: Anne Page

The Society of Women Organists (SWO) is dedicated to celebrating female organists in all areas of music-making.

Following the launch of the Society of Women Organists in February, the recital series at Christ’s Chapel this autumn features three distinguished members; Alison Howell of Bristol University (15 September), Anne Page of Cambridge (13 October) and Alana Brook of Lincoln Cathedral (10 November).

Anne Page studied with Marie Claire-Alain in France, and with Peter Hurford in Cambridge  – teaching as his deputy at the Royal Academy of Music for several years.  She made her London debut at the Royal Festival Hall playing 20th century masterpieces, and an international recital career followed.
