Li Li Ren, To Find a Way Home

To find a way home is a sculptural composition in five parts, whose shapes evoke sea creatures and underwater plant life.

Although these forms may appear out-of-place in a garden setting, their presence encourages us to look for the strange and surreal within nature. Likewise, within the many landscape paintings exhibited as part of Dulwich Picture Gallery’s collection, it is always possible to find elements that are surprising or unexpected. The scale of To find a way home is designed to create interaction among both adults and children, as they move through and around them, cultivating intimate moments with each individual work.
