Join Artist Jo Veevers on a printmaking adventure and explore your relationships with nature. Prints created are inspired by the work on display in Yoshida: Three Generations of Japanese Printmaking.
Glitter box - Face Painting

Get your face painted with professional face painting artists from Glitterbox and parade your creations through the gallery.
Wear Your Emotions

In this fun and creative workshop families can design and create badges. There will be natural fabrics and materials for participants to experiment with Colours and shapes inspired by nature.
Club Origami

In this workshop you will work with each other to design and create your own origami sculptures.
Self-led Art Trail

Our art trail will inspire you to walk around, look and create new ways to explore the Gallery. Collect your trail from the Welcome Hall.
Manga Postcards
Linbury Room, 11am-2pm & 3-4pm (Drop in)
Learn how to draw Manga characters and faces with Chie Kutsuwada, final images created will be in the Ukiyoe style.
Art & Play

Explore colour and textures in this quieter space with a relaxed approach to noise and movement, you are free to enter and exit as needed. A chill-out space and noise-cancelling headphones are also available for both adults and children
A Quiet Space will be available for a relaxed opening from 10-11am.
Storytelling: The Monkey and the Crab
GALLERY 11, 11-12pm, 1-2pm, and 3-4pm
A popular Japanese folk tale with a host of amusing characters. Come along and experience this heart-warming tale, performed by You-Ri Yamanaka, with traditional Japanese costume, movement, and storytelling. Afterwards, play with special props from the performance and learn how to use them.
