Support a tree and make a difference
Open Art is our exciting plan to transform our gardens and create new opportunities for everyone to engage with art and nature.
As part of Open Art we will be creating London’s only Gallery-based Sculpture Garden. Alongside a changing display of contemporary sculptures, it will be home to an art forest of 134 newly planted young trees.
We will transform an unused field into a species-rich wild flower meadow and art forest, supporting a range of animals, insects, birds and cleaner air.
You can help make this happen by supporting a tree!

Supporting a tree in The Lovington Sculpture Meadow offers the chance to be a lasting part of Dulwich Picture Gallery’s legacy.
You will help create a unique place for reflection and inspiration for years to come.
Your gift will also help nurture and protect a young tree as it grows.
It is the perfect way to have a personal and tangible place in the Gallery grounds to celebrate a loved one or a special event, or a gift for the someone who loves art and nature.

How to support a tree
We have 120 Rowan (Mountain ash) Sorbus acuparia trees available for support. It costs £650 to support a tree.
We also have 1 Elm (Ulmus procera) tree available for support at £800, and 4 English Oak (Quercus robus) trees, available for support at £1,000.

In recognition of your gift, a personalised dedication will be engraved on a bespoke tag, on a tree in the Art Forest, for a minimum of 10 years.
You will receive a personalised certificate commemorating your tree to keep or give to a loved one. If you would prefer to be emailed the certificate, please let us know.
