Embarkation of Saint Paula

Following her conversion, the noble Roman widow Saint Paula became a friend of Saint Jerome and embarked for the Holy Land, where she founded a convent. DPG22O is a copy of Claude's original of 1641-2 in the collection of the Duke of Wellington.
