The Doric String Quartet was formed nearly 20 years ago, and is now recognised as the leading British string quartet of its generation with a world-wide reputation.
The Times calls them ‘A superb ensemble, intelligent, technically brilliant, wonderfully balanced’.
Their programme includes Purcell, Debussy and Beethoven and will illustrate the wide range of their musical accomplishment.
