Contextual Lecture: Arrows of Learning; Molecules, Music, and Metaphysics

With Professor James Crabbe

Professor James Crabbe will take you on a journey through learning and technology, involving music, computer modelling of molecules, the eye and diabetes, through to climate change, coral reefs and influencing policy. This will lead us to new pedagogies for learning in prisons and in the military. The journey ends with questions; how can learning improve trust, performance and governance?

James Crabbe is an Emeritus Professor of Biochemistry, a Supernumerary Fellow of Wolfson College, Oxford University, and Honorary Professor at Changchun University of Science and Technology, China.
