With Sir Roger Scruton
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Roger Scruton. In light of this news, his lecture on 8 December will no longer take place.
All tickets will be refunded.
Judgments of beauty are often regarded as subjective. We have neither the possibility of imposing them on others nor the right to try. Look around yourself at what is happening to our cultural heritage and you will realize that this is too simple. Rodger Scruton, philosopher and writer will explore how we justify our judgments and why it matters.
Roger is a philosopher, public commentator and author of over 40 books. He has specialised in aesthetics with particular attention to music and architecture.
