Discover which Moomin character best conveys you as we take a closer look at the personalities behind the pictures, enjoy immersive workshops and performances, and take advantage of exclusive entry to the Tove Jansson exhibition after hours.
Moomins and the Comet (LIVE RESCORE) - 15 Dec
Join Graeme Miller - composer of the original soundtrack to the 1980s TV version of The Moomins - as he brings his seminal score back to life with a rare live re-score of the Film Polski animation.

A Moomin Winter’s Day - 16 & 17 Dec
Celebrate the festive season with a variety of activities across the Gallery! The Polka Theatre’s Moomin puppets will be coming out of hibernation for a special appearance. Artist Davina Drummond will be taking inspiration from Jansson’s writing about Christmas traditions and help you fill your own bauble with a loving message for family or friends. The stories of the Moomins’ adventures will be told throughout each day and there will be an opportunity to write your letters to Father Christmas and receive a special reply!
