Sculpt and Draw
Try your hand at sculpture and develop your drawing skills in this unique session led by London Drawing Group tutor & Fine Artist Luisa Maria MacCormack.
The session will explore a variety of different sculpture techniques, using paper, plasticine and other ‘low-fi’ mediums. You will then create drawings from your sculptural creations. By experimenting and moving from 2D drawing to 3D sculpture and back again, the session will encourage you to try new creative ways of thinking about sculpture and drawing and the relationship between them.
Luisa will share personal insights into the dual practice of drawing from sculpture whilst also exploring the works of M.K. Čiurlionis and other artists whose practices have incorporated this technique.
