1811 Club

Get closer to Dulwich Picture Gallery by joining the 1811 Club.

The 1811 Club is run by the Gallery independently of the Friends and its members enjoy similar benefits plus access to exclusive Gallery events and external trips.

In addition to giving important support to help sustain the Gallery, 1811 Club members get to feel part of the Gallery and learn more about our exhibitions and collections away from the crowds. Benefits include private views; insights with the gallery team, regular updates and external trips to places of interest.

Support from the 1811 Club makes a vital contribution to our key Gallery projects and provides much-needed revenue towards our sustainability.

Why support us?

We want to inspire people of all ages and help them create meaning and find themselves in art.

We are committed to creating fresh, inventive ways of looking at our word-class collection of Old Masters and providing new perspectives on both admired and lesser-known artists through internationally acclaimed exhibitions.

The Gallery costs £4.9M* per year to open, operate, offer its artistic and community programmes and care for its collection. The Gallery’s income

from ticket sales provide 22% of these costs and 48% must be raised from fundraising. Philanthropy is vital to our survival.

*Financial year: April 2016 - March 2017
