Holy Family

A crude copy (perhaps English) of Barocci's "Madonna del Gatto" in the National Gallery, London. In the DPG version the cat is excluded from the slightly narrowed composition. The scene is reversed and therefore probably taken from the engraving by Cornelis Cort of 1577.
